Its place on the riverfront near the Heritage building, with its Corinthian Colonnades and elegant dome, gives Custom House a certain kudos that not many other establishments in Brisbane can claim. This building served as the Customs House for the city until 1988. The building, which is heritage-listed, was bought by the University of Queensland and has some magnificent ballrooms and function rooms, not to mention the beautiful verandahs right on the water's edge.
If you are looking for a spectacular view with the right ambience, then this might be a a great choice for your New Year's Eve.
Customs House is offering an evening of cool cocktails, atmospheric music and delicate food. Some of the cocktails on offer will be Aperol Spritzers, G and Ts and Prosecco, Peronis and a selection of others which are likely to appeal.
The kitchen will provide a range of cocktail food to match your wonderful drinks and the live music, with Reece Freeman on acoustic guitar.
