Each year, fireworks take off from City Hill in Canberra at 9pm and midnight - right in the heart of the CBD. One of the best ways to view the fireworks is by booking a New Year's Eve Cruise with Canberra Southern Cross Cruises and enjoying them in style.

The first cruise leaves at 6:30pm and has a decadent dinner planned for both adults and children before the 9pm fireworks. It then returns to Yarralumla by 9:30pm. The cost is $99 adults and $40 children.
