There's no such thing as too much sparkle! It's that time of year again - Get ready to celebrate the New Year in style. Koshigaya Park in Campbelltown is hosting the biggest New Year's Eve party for the whole family. Spend the night enjoying a huge line up of entertainment and two fireworks displays - Such a great venue to ring in the New Year. Perfect for those who would like an alternative to the Sydney CBD festivities, but still want a big celebration.

Campbelltown City is renowned for offering a quality New Year's Eve alternative to the crowded CBD of Sydney - A huge night of entertainment from 7 p.m, along with two spectacular fireworks displays at 9 p.m and midnight. A big screen on the western side of the park displays all the on-stage action, to ensure everyone can see and enjoy the entertainment on offer.

There's so much to do throughout the night, including a family-friendly carnival, as well as food and market stalls. There will be five hours of live stage entertainment, acts ranging from local performers to high-profile bands as well as a children's show.

The Entertainment Line-Up:

7.10 p.m Local Artist - TBC
7.30 p.m Splash Dance - Kids Show (post performance Meet & Greet 8.10pm)
8:10 p.m The After Party Band
9.00 p.m Fireworks
9.10 p.m The After Party Band
10.00 p.m High Rollers Band
Midnight Fireworks
It would be a good idea to bring your fold-out chairs and picnic blankets, so you have a comfortable spot to enjoy the night in, as there's plenty of room and great locations all over this fantastic park. There are also BBQ's and covered table areas to enjoy, if you get there early enough.

The park is located a short walking distance from the Campbelltown train station. For information on bus and train services on New Year's Eve, please visit www.transportnsw.info or contact Transport for NSW on 131 500.

Parking is available at various locations around the Campbelltown CBD or at Bradbury Oval, only a short walk, via the underpass, to Koshigaya Park.

Be aware of temporary full road closures beginning from 6pm, 31 December 2017 until 1am on 1st January 2018 on the following streets during the New Year's Eve celebrations:

1. Camden Road - west of Catholic Club access roundabout to Hurley Street.
2. Hurley Street - Camden Road to south of Campbelltown Mall access roundabout.
3. Kellicar Road - Narellan Road to Camden Road.

Fun Fact: Campbelltown City signed a Sister City agreement with Koshigaya City, Japan, 11th April, 1984. Koshigaya City, Japan, also has a Campbelltown Park, which was constructed in 1984. The Sister City program gives both of these cities a global perspective on cultural connections through the values of friendship, respect and harmony. There is a hedged garden displaying a monument displaying information about the park's history.

Keep in mind, if your pet tends to be scared by loud noises, it may be best to keep them safe inside the house on New Year's Eve.

Whether you're meeting friends and family for a party in the park, or enjoying a celebratory picnic under the stars and fireworks, Koshigaya Park will treat you to a wonderful night as you see in the New Year.
