Celebrate the New Year (and your day off) on the beautiful Canning River at Shelley Beach Foreshore Park on January 1st 2016 from 3pm to 8pm. This free event is set to attract around 12,000 people – residents and visitors alike for a relaxing day filled with music and joy. Your kids will love the bouncy castle and water slide from 3pm to 6pm. This City of Canning event ends with a dazzling fireworks finale at 8pm.
Marquee New Year's Day
Held at the South of Perth yacht club since 2009, enjoy the beautiful view of the Swan River while taking your pick from refreshing drinks by some of Perth's best cocktail bartenders. Held at the Ascot Racecourse on January 2nd, wear your finest hat and join the throngs of stylish guests enjoying a day of first class thoroughbred racing.
