Need For Speed
Released: August 6
Starring- Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots
In a nutshell- Fresh from prison, a street racer joins a cross country race with revenge in mind.
Why we're excited- Based on the video game of the same, fans of the franchise should be in heaven. Although it looks a little like Fast and the Furious on steroids, I'd be stunned if Need For Speed wasn't full of unique and thrilling car chases and races that haven't been done before. I don't have much hope for a decent story line, but with talented actors and hefty effects budget it's sure to be a film to get your adrenaline pumping.

Captain America- The Winter Soldier
Released: August 20
Starring- Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson
In a nutshell- Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and battles a new threat from old history: the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier.
Why we're excited- One word 'SUPERHERO'. With the string of Marvel and DC Comic movies being made recently, Captain America will hopefully be as good as the first. Introducing a few new faces, that are sure to only add to the action, Captain America is sure to be full of mystery, suspense and that 40's chivalry that is Steve Rogers.

Divergent
Released: August 27
Starring- Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet
In a nutshell-In a world divided by factions based on virtues, Tris learns she's Divergent and won't fit in. When she discovers a plot to destroy Divergence, Tris and the mysterious Four must find out what makes Divergents dangerous before it's too late.
Why we're excited- with all the hype surrounding this movie is easy to become swept up in the new book series turned movie franchise that is Divergent. Blending action, sci-fi and romance this movie looks to be perfect example how to successfully adapt a novel into an engaging and gripping film. And I'm hoping there's a twist to this story that makes me say 'Wow, I didn't see that coming.'

Noah
Released: August 27
Starring- Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson
In a nutshell- Noah is chosen by The Creator to undertake a monumental task before an apocalyptic flood cleanses the world.
Why we're excited- With Hollywood turning to The Bible for cinematic inspiration recently, Noah actually looks like it might worth watching. Using a talented cast of Academy Award winners it's hard not to think it would be a winner. Taking a new spin on an ancient tale and incorporating some stellar special effects of biblical proportions I hope this film will seamlessly transition to the small screen.

Bad Neighbours
Released: August 28
Starring- Seth Rogan, Zac Efron, Rose Byrne, Dave Franco
In a nutshell- A couple with a newborn baby face unexpected difficulties after they are forced to live next to a fraternity house. Things escalate when the cops are called and the fraternity vows revenge.
Why we're excited- With a talented cast, including a home grown Aussie girl, Bad Neighbours looks to be a film that won't fail to make our ribs ache with laughter. It's full of extreme pranks, outrageous sabotages and revenge plots that can only escalate as the film progresses. The film will hopefully be everything the trailer makes it out to be, enjoyable, witty and comical. And really, who hasn't thought of getting revenge on their neighbour once or twice?
