This is no surprise, since the venue is often busy with happy children playing in a bright and open space, filled with fun slides, a ball pit, cars, cubby houses, Little Tykes cars, a reading area, an 'under three's' gated area with its own jumping castle, plus a large jumping castle for the older kids and much more.
Visiting as a parent, you'll find a variety of healthy sandwiches and lunch options, with tea, coffees and chai lattes to sip on whilst relaxing in air conditioned (or heated) comfort. You'll find a handful of comfy blue couches, or a large selection of tables and chairs to have a rest and a chit chat.
Silly Seahorse Indoor Playcentre
The Silly Seahorse is by far my son's favourite place to go with his friends, and has become a second home to us, particularly during the cold winter months.
The Silly Seahorse is open 7 days a week, however on Monday mornings, the centre has introduced a brand new playgroup running from 10am - 12pm organised by a playgroup coordinator. Each session includes:
Plus parents and children are able to stay for unlimited playtime after the session finishes.
Age recommendation 0-5yrs. The cost is $10 per child, or $80 per child booking for 10 visits.
The good news is, that whilst most playgroups and activities do not run during school holidays, The Silly Seahorse playgroup will continue throughout.
In addition to Monday's playgroup The Silly Seahorse is open all the way through the winter school holiday break, recommended play for babies through to - 9 yrs. Opening hours can be found on The Silly Seahorse website.
A perfect opportunity to keep the kids entertained this winter break.
