New Guernica is a night club in the city with a great atmosphere and lousy music. Given the cheap drink prices though, you wouldn't notice how annoying the DJ is after a cocktail jug.

Cocktail jugs are a relatively rare delicacy at $25 a jug until midnight anywhere in the city and this club is one of the few to offer food, a nice gesture but really the cheese is the only thing I advise from the menu. Unless you want dumpling burps all night long.

I had the pleasure of attending on my best friend's 21st birthday celebrations. Guest entry prices for larger groups tend to be around $10 with a few named individuals getting in free if you ask. Although there are a few kinks in the club, I thoroughly enjoyed the company and alcohol, even if the food and music was not in sync with a night of dancing and drinking.
