New Edition Bookshop located in Fremantle
Cruising through Fremantle one day with a group of university friends we stumbled upon a beautiful bookstore called
New Edition Bookshop. Might I add this bookshop has a small cafe attached. I have always been a fan of combining a bookshop with coffee. You are allowed to sit down for a coffee and small meal in the bookshop, while catching up with friends or just on your own.

Relax and have a coffee at one of their cute tables
The setting is quite beautiful as they have a retro feel to the place. You can sit at tables throughout the store and even read. But out of courtesy, I would not do this unless I had intentions of buying the book. Remember this is not a library and for places like this to remain open you need to support them.
The staff are super friendly, making it a relaxing and calming atmosphere. The coffee is satisfactory, though come in a size that will sadden any coffee lover. One sip and it's gone. Unfortunately I have not tried the food, so I cannot comment on the quality. I can comment that this is not the ideal place to have lunch if you have a gluten free diet. Just stick to morning or afternoon tea/coffee.

Tables are scattered throughout the bookshop, making it feel cosy.
So, if you are looking for a nice relaxing place to catch up with friends then I recommend trying out the New Edition Bookshop. They currently have two places in Western Australia located in Fremantle and Northbridge.
