'Never Too Old to Shoot' is a photography exhibition showcasing the creative talents of 30 members of the U3A Melbourne City.
U3A is a self-help, voluntary, not-for-profit organisation, which provides learning opportunities to members. It is part of the world-wide network of Universities of the Third Age (U3A).
This upcoming event proves you're never too old to pick up a camera and start shooting and coincides with the Victorian Seniors Festival this October.
This unique event is being held at the Art @ No 1 Spring Street Gallery in the landmark Harry Seidler designed Shell House from Monday 6 October to Friday 10 October 2014.
'This event demonstrates how the U3A learning environment encourages people to explore their creative aspirations, providing an opportunity to display their works in public' U3A Melbourne City President Jill Thompson said.
'We embody the principles of life-long education and the pursuit of knowledge for its own sake, in an atmosphere of mutual learning and teaching'.
Entry to the exhibition is free. It will be open daily from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
This event is generously funded by a Community Services grant from the City of Melbourne.
