This cafe on the corner of the Jetty Arcade is so popular that there have been times when we have waited for a seat to become vacant to enjoy our breakfast. It is worth the wait.
This Easter weekend marks Nerosso Cafe's third year anniversary. I remember when Tina started her small cafe and it is so exciting to watch how she has taken this small nook and created a fantastic meeting place for locals and visitors alike to catch up over a cuppa.
In the beginning Nerosso Cafe sold beverages, such as coffee, tea and frappes. After a short period of time, Tina took her business to the next level and created a kitchen inside the arcade that caters for a high volume of people for breakfast and lunch, 6 days per week.
They use a high quality blend of Arabicas from South America and with a touch of fine Robustas from Asia. Together the beans provide a combination of 'elegant acidity and chocolate sweetness, with the Robustas adding the body.'
