If you're after an easy meal at the Gold Coast, Nerang RSL has plenty on offer for a reasonable price.
I've been going there with family for a convenient and filling lunch, we've always chosen the Bain Marie meals for their price and speed. The daily specials in the Bain Marie are $8 for members, $6.50 for seniors with a club voucher, and $10 for guests. With roasts, fish, chicken legs with gravy, bowl pies, stews and curries, we've always found something to enjoy.

You can have a choice of vegetables with the main dish or chips with salad in a separate bowl. Sometimes I've found the serving sizes too large (though great value of course), particularly of the roast or stew type dishes, so I'd recommend either watching how much they put on the plate or ordering the chicken legs or pies if you don't think you can eat much at a time.

The attached bar serves a variety of beers, ciders for around $6-$7 and non-alcoholic drinks for around $3 or $4.
If you would prefer a specific meal there are chief specials like grilled salmon, seafood plate, surf & turf, for $16 to $30 with discounts for members. Of course there is also a normal menu with with standard bistro meals like pastas, salads, stir-fries, chicken meals and steaks.

As well as the restaurant, Gallipoli's, there is a cafe called 4211 Café (named after the postcode) which serves pizzas and light meals on the ground floor. Nearby the cafe are pokies and bingo which is played 3 times a week.
We've always found the staff welcoming and approachable, and the decor and furniture kept clean and tidy. The restaurant is on the second floor away from the pokies so it's quiet enough to have a conversation.

There is plenty of on-site parking, and only a short drive around the corner is the Nerang Cineplex and shopping mall, Earle Plaza.
