Despite being a small land-locked country, Nepal has incredible diversity. From breathtaking scenery to friendly people, from holy temples to majestic monasteries, from rich cultural heritage to delicious food, from amazing traditions to vibrant festivals, Nepal ought to be celebrated.
With the theme 'One Country, Many Stories', the Nepal Festival Melbourne aims to bring the incredible stories of places, people, cultural heritage, festivals, food, music and the sounds of Nepal to Melbourne.
This is the tenth anniversary of Melbourne's Nepal Festival. It starts with a cultural parade from the State Library and then takes centre-stage at Federation Square in a colourful and vibrant display. The festival also features a cultural village, performances, live music, food stalls, art and craft stalls, information stalls, roving performers and entertainment for children.
