The Neon Run takes place in 6 cities around Australia (there's also a Latin America section on the event website). The Gold Coast run is on Sat 3 May 2014. The event is a 5km night time run with 4 neon zones – rock, disco, pop and house, featuring lasers, strobes, black lights, dancers and DJ's. You can enter as a runner, jogger or walker - start times will be staggered. Lights, colour and action are the mainstay of the event. Freebies include an event T-shirt, LED sound activated flashband and event bib. There will also be luminous face paint available (small fee).
