This event is a prelude to an annual callout for young people to join the Neo Teen Ambassadors. Neo Teen Ambassadors are involved in planning events in collaboration with a committee and assist with the programming and delivery of each of the events. At the heart of Neo is teen engagement eg youth-led activities for youth. AGSA is looking for young people aged 13-17 with big ideas and who want to be involved and join the Neo Advisory Committee in 2020, Those interested are encouraged to get in touch.

Teens are invited to this introductory event to delve deeper into Tarnanthi, and the world of contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art. For the full program and lineup complete with timeframes and venues at AGSA, head to the event page where you can also stay updated and interact; or website .

The event kicks off with Acknowledgement of Country with Tiana Bain and performance by Rusty at 5.50pm at the West Wing Entrance. There's a Photobooth at the Atrium for some selfie fun with friends, The Courtyard has food and drink with vegan and gluten-free options. When you need a break, draw from the artwork around you in the Courtyard or join a Sketch Tour and sketch your way through Tarnanthi with one of the Teen Guides. Meet at the Atrium Information Desk for the sketch tour. Ultimately, chill with the original sounds of Adelaide's latest youth bands and performers including Hannah Yates and a headlining act by MoZzi in the Courtyard.
