The Great Barrier Reef is one of the natural wonders of the world. Unfortunately, it is currently under threat from the most widespread, rapid and damaging set of industrial developments in Queensland's history.

Join "Nemo Needs Us" on July 26th at 7pm in the Regent Club for an evening which aims to raise awareness of the industrialisation occurring on the Great Barrier Reef's coastline. With tickets priced at just $40, all proceeds raised will go towards two major charities, Australian Marine Conservation Society, and Mon Repos Turtle Rookery.

Tickets include a complimentary glass of bubbly, plus entertainment by legendary jazz band The Connie Lansberg Quartet from 8.30pm onwards. Also available on the night will be special food and drink offers, including $8 Cocktails themed for the event.

The Queensland Government is fast-tracking mega port developments, dredging and dumping of millions of tonnes of seabed and rock, and encouraging a shipping superhighway. The Australian Government is approving these developments, including the world's biggest coal port at Abbot Point, 50 km from the Whitsunday Islands.

Book your tickets online now to help fight for your reef.
