Looking for the hidden gems of the world! - Living in Dandenong ranges Australia
Published April 14th 2016
The Ultimate Neighbours tour provides full insight to life on the set for the actors of the iconic Australian tv show. Hop onto the Neighbours bus from Melbourne, and listen to fun facts about the show, and it's history from the enthusiastic tour guides. The first stop of the tour is the iconic Ramsey Street. Here you will be able to walk along the street and have your photo taken outside the houses with the famous street sign.

After a short drive the second stop is at Channel 10 studios (Global studios), where you will find all the exterior sets of the towns and houses. Unfortunately you cannot go inside of the houses or shops because they are filmed in another area, but you are able to freely roam the 'town centre' of Erinsborough. The tour allows you to see a wide range of sets from Harold's store to the Waterhole.

The tour is a great day out for die hard fans of the show, or for international tourists because it allows you to sit back and take in the history and fun facts of the show, and to freely take photographs of you and the sets. For Australian families who do not watch the show it can at times be a little confusing because they make a lot of references to current and past characters. However it is still just as fun looking at the sets of such a famous show in our own backyard.

This is a family friendly tour and which allows children to join in on the fun as well. The tour guides and security are very friendly and enjoy talking about the show.

It's hard to imagine how popular this show has become over the years; I remember watching it as a child. (That was a long, long time ago)
