Get motivated to ride
Get outside and get active by going for a 40-minute ride every Sunday, starting in Brunswick.

The weekly Neighbourly Ride is a fun social activity to help build confidence on the bike while meeting new people and exploring local safe cycling routes.

It's one of the best ways to see new places and it keeps you motivated to keep cycling. Plus, they go on a new route every week.

You can even join other riders for a coffee afterwards.

The ride takes place at 10am and riders travel a leisurely pace.
Make sure your arrive 15 minutes early so you can meet other riders, and then be ready to leave at 10am.

Don't forget to register online!

Here's what you need to bring:

Plenty of smiles.
Your bike (in good working order with a bell).
Helmet (mandatory and it's the law).
Lights (front and rear are advisable for added visibility).
Water bottle.
Puncture repair kit (tube and pump).
Sun tan cream and weather protective clothing in case it rains or gets cold.

Don't forget to pump up the tyres and oil the chain before you head out. Take your bike for a short ride to make sure everything is working well.

Love the concept of differing routes. My local walikng club does the same and it has introduced me to places I would mot otherwise have known about.
