Located along Churchill Road in Prospect, is a little coffee shop where you can enjoy cafe-style food and coffee. The main focus of their menu is toasted sandwiches, both classics and gourmet ones with fillings based of favourites such as Mac and Cheese.

The serving size of their toasted sandwiches was very generous and can easily be shared with a friend. The corned beef that formed a key part of the Reuben Toastie was not tough and the sauerkraut and dill pickle added a lovely tangy element.

While its name may suggest a toastie with a very creamy taste, the degree of creaminess in the Mac and Cheese Toastie was quite light. The pasta was cooked al dente and bits of bacon provided a hint of smokiness. Also included in the sandwich was what tasted like relish for a bit of sweetness. Their toasted sandwiches came with potato chips.

Befitting its name, the Quesadilla featured a tortilla rather than bread. The pulled chicken used as the filling was juicy and the addition of jalapenos provided a bit of heat. Keeping in line with the Mexican flair of the dish, it came with corn chips rather than potato chips.

The Supreme Toastie tasted very much like its namesake, with the salami and ham giving the filling a delectable smoky taste. Olives added some saltiness to the dish, which was balanced out by the slices of capsicum. The amount of cheese was sufficient to make the dish taste like a sandwich version of pizza.

A recent addition to the menu during our second visit, the chicken that formed a key part of the BBQ Chicken Hawaiian Toastie was cooked just right and there was enough barbeque sauce to give the dish a delightful smoky flavour. As the name would suggest, chunks of pineapple were included in the filling for some sweetness.

For dessert, you can choose from a selection of pastries, some of which were sourced from Abbots and Kinney . An interesting pastry available during our visits was based on a cinnamon roll. This pastry, along with the Mixed Berry Danish and the Almond Croissant that we had were from Abbots and Kinney.

While the outlet primarily caters for takeaway, it has a comfortable and casual feel if you wish to dine in. Its location makes it convenient for customers to grab a coffee and a bite to eat before heading into the city.
