I did not have to listen to Cecile van der Burgh of Child Nature Connection for long before catching her enthusiasm and passion for seeing children connecting with nature. "It's really all about inspiring people with solutions, and championing the ideas of those that are already doing so much in the child-nature movement; the power of diversity is amazing, and the is a celebration of what is already happening in Victoria."

Join Victorian Child and Nature Connection this 1-6 April.

Some great work is happening across Victoria in the children-nature movement. is a new event that endeavours to bring together various initiatives that reconnect children to nature and the outdoors.

There will be fun children's activities all around Melbourne, including events at the Ian Potter Children's Garden at The Royal Botanic Gardens, screenings of Project Wild Thing (a film-led movement to get more kids and families outside and reconnecting with nature), bug hunts , mud drawings , gardening , and more.

Click here if you have an event that you would like to register for .

Keep up to date on the week of outdoor fun on the website and the Victorian Child & Nature Connection Facebook page .
