Is your child a super sleuth? Or maybe they just love being active outside.
Whichever your child is, come along and have fun at Coromandel Community Centre's exciting 'Nature Play' event.
Held as part of National Playgroup Week, kids (and their parents/carers) are given 10 special missions which they need to complete in an hour and a half. As the missions are in and around the centre, kids will love being outside, running around and using their imagination.
Nature Play SA aims to increase the time South Australian children spend in unstructured play outdoors and in nature, so the missions are a fun mix of finding items, doing activities and letting kids' imagination run riot!
As well as having fun, kids will be exploring, observing and learning about nature, so it will be a real passport to adventure.
Held on Thursday 26 March, at the Weymouth Oval precinct
442b Main Rd, Coromandel Valley, 10am – 11.30am this great activity is for under school age children (and their parents/carers!).
Don't forget to wear old clothes (that are weather appropriate), and bring along a water bottle.
The cost is just $5 per family and bookings are essential. Call the centre on 8370 6680.
To find out more about this and other events and activities, visit the
Coromandel Community Centre website.
National Playgroup Week is an opportunity for parents to learn more about playgroup through the fun and interactive activities that are being offered by playgroup and participating sponsors.
This week-long event is a time to recognise the value of playgroups in the community. Playgroups are one of the most popular and enduring grass roots movements for families with young children, and are an important part of the early childhood experience.
