Natural Skincare Workshop in Melbourne

Time to ditch your commercial cosmetics
A set of natural skincare workshops recently took place in Adelaide, run by skincare specialist and qualified chemist Kalindi of Mulayam Australia.

Kalindi Natural Skincare Workshop
Kalindi of Mulayam Australia.

Due to the success of her previous Adelaide workshops, Kalindi is making her way to the Victorian State to teach the people of Melbourne ways to make skincare using all natural ingredients.

Despite working in the commercial beauty industry for over 20 years, Kalindi ditched branded products 7 years ago. Concerned with the synthetics found in big brand skincare products such as dyes, artificial fragrances and petroleum, Kalindi formulated a range of natural skincare using herbal ingredients.

Kalindi now shares her knowledge, teaching others how to formulate base products and demonstrates practical ways to make quality skincare.

Kalindi's Melbourne workshop will take place in Glen Waverley, where she will be offering 4 hours of her time to demonstrate how to prepare a base formula that you can use for your desired product.

A formulated base product can be used for:

a lotion that can be used as a cleanser, day moisturiser, hand lotion, or insect repellent.
a cream that can be used for a cream cleanser, night moisturiser, nourishing cream, hand cream, anti-aging products or foot cream.
a mask that can be used to make a face product suited to skin type or a base for a scrub for the face, body or foot.
a toner to be applied via spray mist or pat and dry.

Each natural skincare workshop runs with a small group of people to a maximum of 10, making each class small enough for Kalindi to attend to each participant one-to-one where necessary.

You will leave this class with easy to follow steps in cosmetic chemistry techniques as well as skills in formulation and preservation. You will also go home with a new insight into the lotions and potions you use on your skin.

Each class will cost $75 that covers all ingredients and materials used as well as a take home sample pack. Book your place here.
