Do you love going out to the park but you find yourself inexplicably bitten by bugs?

What are you going to do about it? Well for starters, find something citrus, mosquitos hate citrus, because if it's on your skin and they land on you, it makes their feet itch and they'll just fly away.

So try and eat some oranges, or find yourself some citronella oil because oranges are well delicious and if they also help keep those bugs away it's just an added bonus.

Whatever you do, avoid bananas, those delicious fruits make you smell just as deliciously sweet and will attract bugs like crazy.

Nature's Mosquito Bait

Try and avoid strong scents when using soaps and shampoos, it may make you smell nice for your friends but it will also bring all those unwanted suitors flying straight towards you.

Another source of natural bug repellent is, strangely enough, catnip. Now I'm not sure how much catnip you'd have on you at home but apparently it's almost 10 times better than regular sprays and repellants.

So if you are out in the park during bug season and you've found that insect repellant just isn't enough these are some extra precautions you can take so that the bugs don't spoil your time.
