Traditional wisdom, natural medicine and wellbeing
Are you interested in health and wellbeing and helping others to achieve their best? If so, did you know that there are professional qualifications available in the field of Health Science and Complementary Medicine? Or maybe you'd just like to learn more about a single subject. Both options are available at the Endeavour College of Natural Health. The Perth campus is hosting a free Open Day on Saturday 20 January. You'll be able to meet students and lecturers, learn about course offerings, explore the campus and more.
Endeavour College was founded in 1975 as the Australian College of Natural Medicine. Since then it has grown into the largest provider of complementary medicine higher education degrees in the Southern Hemisphere, with six campus locations across Australia.
Complementary medicine is a term used for a wide variety of healthcare practices that may be used alongside standard medical treatment. Complementary therapies include:
Traditional Chinese medicine and naturopathy
Mind and body practices like acupuncture, massage therapy, and tai chi
Natural products like herbs or dietary supplements
Endeavour offers the Bachelor of Health Science with concentrations in Acupuncture, Myotherapy, Naturopathy and Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine. Also available is the Bachelor of Complementary Medicine, designed for students who are interested in the field as a whole rather than clinical practice. Single subjects can also be studied on a non-award basis.
