Get there early for the biggest selection
If you love to buy native plants for your garden, then you can't miss the Native Plant Sale in the car park of the Australian National Botanical Gardens on Saturday, 19th October. This event is extremely popular with Canberra locals, so get there as early as you can for the biggest choice! Gates open at 8.30 am and the sale will continue until all the plants are sold or by 1:30pm. Take your own box with you, so you can get all your purchases home.

Browse the thousands of native Australian plants, with prices starting from $6 for a 70mm pot. Plant lists are available from the Australian Native Plant Society website two weeks prior to the sale. See the Australian National Botanical Gardens website for details.
