Lions and Tigers and Bears - oh my
This zoo has been around for less than twenty years but it's hugely successful and is constantly expanding as even more beautiful and unusual animals[/LINK ]are added.

Every enclosure is lovingly designed and maintained, and there are amazing experiences on offer including Meet a Cheetah and [LINK=]overnight stays.

The zoo has a range of primates and big cats as well as giraffes, meerkats, otters, red pandas, bears, Australian animals, enormous snakes, alligators and sharks. It is well staffed by volunteers and others who love the animals and are gracious and informative towards visitors.

The kangaroos and emu roam free within their area and can be approached and patted. In the aquarium there is a lovely touch pool with shark eggs, shells, and live fish and starfish.

It is well worth circling back to favourite creatures, as their behaviour changes over the course of the day. There is a café, plus loads of sheltered picnic and BBQ areas scattered throughout the centre.
