Celebrated from April 10-19 with the theme It Starts With Us Brisbane Youth Week offers lots of events for young people to learn new skills and have fun. A range of organisations are organising events to coincide with the week. Many of the activities are offbeat and non - mainstream to include all young people.

Brisbane Youth Week, QUBE Effect,

Launch of Brisbane Youth Week featuring the QUBE effect, Brisbane's new contemporary music event where local acts perform on the main stage and then squish themselves into cubes to play their favourite song.

4ZZZ Street Sounds, Youth Week

4ZZZ Street Soundzzz
Street Soundzzz will give under 25s the chance to meet one another, have a great time, show off their skills and get involved in community- based creative industries. Bring sun protection and water bottle.

QUEERIOSITY, LGBTQI, Youth Week

QUEERIOSITY is a community based LGBTQI festival with performances from a variety of queer community members in areas such as music, dance, DJ, drag, cabaret, and performance art.

Brisbane Youth Week, Wynnum

Wynnum Youth Week Celebration will include bands and DJs, rock climbing wall, giant games, food, art activities, and more.

Youth Homelessness Matters Art Exhibition an exhibition of young people's work, paintings, photographs, written pieces and videos.

Battle of the Bands, Sandgate, youth Week

Sandgate PCYC Battle of the Bands
To perform and have the chance to win lots of prizes register your band with the PCYC on 07 3269 5358 or head on down to support new and emerging artists.

When: Saturday 18 April, 5-10pm
