On Sunday July 29th, get ready to put on your favourite gardening gloves and get down and dirty for Planet Ark's annual National Tree Day. Last year over a million native trees and shrubs were planted for National Tree Day, that's a million more chances we're giving the planet to cope with the amount of carbon dioxide we are currently pumping into the atmosphere every day.

To register for Tree Planting day head to the National Tree Day website. Tree project also organise tree planting projects throughout the year if you find one day of tree planting is not nearly enough to satisfy your green thumb needs.
