National Tree Day

National Tree Day

Posted 2023-07-04 by Cassandrafollow
will be celebrated on Sunday 30th July 2023. It is Australia's largest community tree-planting event and attracts around 300,000 volunteers every year. The amazing folks at Planet Ark estimate that over 26 million plants have been sprouted since the annual event started in 1996! Join the movement and help make your community greener.

Planting trees can help decrease air pollution, lower outdoor temperatures, and provide habitat to local wildlife. According to The Nature Conservancy , trees are effective at curbing the effects of heat waves in urban environments. And of course, the lush greenery is great to look at too!
