Celebrate National Tree Day at The Gap

Paten Park Native Nursery at The Gap, is a community nursery, created in 2015 – but there was a nursery there for 26 years before. The Nursery, run by volunteers, promotes the growth of plants native to the south east of Queensland.



They are celebrating National Tree Day on Sunday July 31st from 9 am to 2 pm, at the Nursery, at 57 Paten Road, the Gap.

To celebrate they have organised

Displays from Geckos Wildlife
The Native Bee Man
Native Fish Group
Talk by Lawrie Smith, the Garden Expert
Information on Soil Nutrition (including a free starter kit)
Crafts for the Kids

So on Sunday July 31st, make your way to the Celebrations of National Tree Day, at Paten Park Native Nursery and have some fun. It is FREE to attend. For more information go to their website here.
