Rockhampton Regional Council is proud to host this year’s National Tree Day community planting site alongside River Rose Drive North Rockhampton. National Tree Day is such a great opportunity for you to get involved with your local environment and experience the many benefits of spending time outdoors. To celebrate National Tree Day, you can even take home a free native plant for your own yard.

There are three National Tree Day community planting sessions at River Rose Drive, Norman Garden to choose from :

Sunday, 28 July 2024, starting at 8 am to 9 am. Book here .
Sunday, 28 July 2024, starting at 9 am to 10 am. Book here .
Sunday, 28 July 2024, starting at 10 am to 11 am. Book here .

Meet at the registration marquee and then get planting. Please ensure you wear sun-smart clothing, covered shoes and bring along your own hat and water bottle. Gloves, tools and equipment for planting, and watering cans/buckets will be available.
