National Tree Day is a call to action held every year within Australia that encourages people to go outside and help plant some trees. To help celebrate National Tree Day, there will be a tree-planting day held along Katrina Parade Reserve in Canning Vale on Sunday, 11 July 2021 from 9.00am to 12.00pm. You will be able to get your hands dirty and help plant 4,000 native seedlings in the local bushland.

National Tree Day promises a fun, free, family-friendly morning outside in the sunshine. It's a great way to meet new people and to do your bit to help the local environment. If you would like to take part in this event, registration is essential due to COVID-19 restrictions. If you would like to register your interest, please follow this link . Please bring along your own trowel, gumboots, gloves and water bottle on the day. There is street parking available along Katrine Parade and Hardwick Boulevard.

Please note, due to COVID-19 restrictions, it is possible that this event might be cancelled at short notice. Please check the City of Gosnell's website and social media page for updates.
