Australia's National Sports Museum is within the Melbourne Cricket Ground, a sporting institution. The museum's collection of sporting artefacts is Australia's largest, celebrating the importance of sport in Australian life. It is home to the Olympic Museum, Australian Football Hall of Fame, Sport Australia Hall of Fame, Australian Cricket Hall of Fame along with much more, including the Melbourne Cricket Club Museum – a stunning display of the rich history of one of the world’s oldest sporting clubs and the stadium it manages. You’ll also find Shane Warne and James Hird in 3D. In the Game On gallery play footy, netball, cricket, soccer, cycling and hit the bullseye. Create headlines in the press area and view sports films in NSM Cinema Sport. The National Sports Museum allows visitors to revisit 150 years of Australian sporting participation and achievements.
