I love trying new food and new restaurants. My other passions are Origami and Pokémon
Now going into its nineteenth year, National Simultaneous Storyline is the event when a story written and illustrated by an Australian writer and illustrator is read by children all over Australia on the same day. This event is making its return to Len Beadell Library on 22 May 2019 at 10am.

This year the story to be read is Alpacas with Maracas. Written by Matt Cosgrove, this is a story in which best friends Macca and Al take part in a talent contest together. Matt Cosgrove is a writer and illustrator of children books living in Sydney. Alpacas with Maracas is one of the books starring Macca. The other books in the series are Macca the Alpaca, A Stack of Alpacas and Macca's Christmas Crackers.

As always, listening to the story is not all there is to the event; there will also be songs, games and a craft for your kid to take home.
