In association with National Science Week, MOD will be hosting a presentation on Thursday the 2nd of August 2018 on the science behind cryptography and how it affects privacy. It will be an evening of exploration with Emeritus Professor Jennifer Seberry and Dr Roger Clarke.

Emeritus Professor Jennifer Seberry, the Mother of Cryptology from the University of Wollongong, will give an overview of the science behind cryptology and encryption. Dr Roger Clarke, who has been on the Board of the Australian Privacy Foundation and is Company Secretary of the Internet Society of Australia, will address issues of privacy in the digital age. These presentations will then be followed by a question-and-answer session. So have your questions ready to ask.

This free event, which will be held at 6:30pm on the 2nd of August, has been developed primarily for an adult audience and thus are not suitable for children.
