Celebrate Reconciliation Week
The Ballarat Library are running several programs to celebrate this very important week.

LITTLE LANGUAGES STORYTIME
For ages 3-5years, storytime includes stories, singing and dance learning about the Wadawurrung people.
This will take place:
BALLARAT LIBRARY
Tuesday 29 May | 1011am

ABORIGINAL ASTRONOMY
Presented by astrophysics student, Krystal De Napoli.
Come and hear about ways Indigenous Australians encode
scientific information in their traditions.
BALLARAT LIBRARY
Thursday 31 May | 6.30pm

GIRL SPACE FOR YOUNG WOMEN
This indigenous arts workshop will be held - Friday the 1st of June from 4-6 pm at the BALLARAT LIBRARY

The Youth team is also planning to hold a Leadership Collective on the 29th of May (this isn't confirmed yet) where a local Indigenous young person will be the guest speaker and there will be opportunities to participate in indigenous paintings/ creative arts.
