Bistro Bellavista the Italian Bistro & Wood Fired Pizzeria at 150 Bennett Street, East Perth (08) 9220 9560 is big on celebrations. Sunday 29 July 2018 will be a celebration of National Lasagne Day, so don't forget to head down there for the lunchtime (11.30am to 2.30pm) and dinner (5.30-9.30pm) sessions. Tickets start at $23.90 and all sales will be at the door, so it's first come first served.


Who doesn't love a beautifully layered lasagne oozing with beautiful cheese or cheeses. Perfect for a winter's meal. The City of Naples (Campania) in Italy has been credited as the place this delicious dish was first created. The recipe for lasagne from the Middle Ages was found in the book (one of the oldest medieval cookbooks) Liber de Coquina, but you just might want to try Bellavista's gorgeous seafood lasagne as well.


National Lasagne Day too far away? Bistro Bellavista hears you. Head in for World Gelato Day on 21 July and/or Creme Brulee Day on 22 July. That should keep the taste buds rolling till the lasagne comes along, followed by an I talian Regional Menu: Trentino-Alto Adige event on 5 August.
