National Geographic is arguably the world leader in nature imagery and their magazines and documentaries help us to understand the world that we live in.

The Nat Geo vaults have been opened and some of their treasures, dating back 130 years, will be synchronised into a 90-minute film with a five-movement symphony for live orchestra and chorus.

Each movement focuses on an environment Seas, Shore, Land, Mountains, Sky and the cumulative power of the breathtaking footage is both humbling and awe-inspiring.

The music from Emmy and BAFTA nominated Bleeding Fingers Music, founded by Hans Zimmer, will be instantly recognisable for those who watch the Blue Planet series. The music is rich and uplifting and matches the visual magnificence of the National Geographic imagery. This live performance featuring Aurora, the Festival Statesmen Chorus and the Adelaide Festival Orchestra conducted by Jessica Gethin will be an unforgettable experience for you and your family.
