The ultimate celebration of all things folk

The 52nd National Folk Festival offers five fun-filled days and nights of magical entertainment for all the family to enjoy!

Held during the Easter Long Weekend (Thursday 29 March to Monday 2 April 2018), the National Folk Festival will offer Canberra families a jam-packed program of more than 200 international and national acts!

That's 900 hours of entertainment across 20 stages - from acoustic to blues, roots, world, traditional and contemporary folk, bluegrass, Celtic, indie and country!

The award-winning festival plays host to a wide celebration of music, song and dance and transforms Exhibition Park into a purpose-built village with themed bars, food and market stalls, and roving circus performers and street musicians.

Its multi-disciplinary program is broad and innovative offering diverse concert experiences, a dedicated KidzFest, and a wide variety of hands-on immersive art, poetry, dancing and music experiences.

Choose from season passes or one-day tickets. Best of all, children under 7 (when accompanied by an adult) receive free entry, and on Easter Monday, which is Family Day, accompanied children under 15 years receive free entry.
