The National Art School is an independent specialist visual arts higher education institution with origins that can be traced back to 1843.

Housed in the historic walls of the old Darlinghurst Gaol in Sydney's premier Arts precinct, the National Art School is currently offering a comprehensive selection of visual arts short courses which will run as weekly sessions in the evenings and on Saturdays.

Each course will be taught by practicing artists who teach in both the short courses and undergraduate programs with expertise in a wide range of studio disciplines.

All courses are limited to 16 places unless otherwise specified.

Available course levels include Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced.

This is a great opportunity to develop new skills and explore new ideas and methods in an engaging and encouraging atmosphere.
