The Narrabeen Lakes Festival is an annual event that began in 1993 and will reach its 18th year in 2012. The festival typically attracts around 30,000 visitors and in 2012 it will be taking place on Saturday December 8, from 9.00am to 9.00pm, and Sunday December 9, from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Should you attend the event, you will be able to enjoy a whole lot of fun activities and find something to interest every family member. There will be a vintage car display from the Pittwater Motor Enthusiasts Association, a race car simulator (to be enjoyed for a cost), rides, 140 food and general stalls, selling craft, plants, fashion, jewellery, and non-stop free entertainment.
Performers at the festival will include James Blundell, Keith Armitage, Groove Casino and Nikk Carmichael & The Perspective. Also at the event will be the Northern Beaches Belly Dancers, Ceroc Latin dancing and the Echos singing group. On Saturday evening there will be a special Carols by Candlelight event, led by the St. Faith's Anglican Church, followed by fireworks.
You will find the festival at Berry Reserve in Narrabeen. It costs nothing to attend.
