Narmbool, is Sovereign Hill's beautiful pastoral property located at Elaine, just a short drive south of Ballarat. It will be in full bloom for this year's Open Garden Day on 22 November.

It was gifted by its owners, Robin Ferry OAM and her husband Andrew Ferry OAM, so that it could be developed as an educational centre with a focus on the environment and biodiversity.

Tours of the extensive garden will include the diverse and beautiful garden 'rooms', the Bluestone Cottage Interpretive Centre, the Echidna Dam and experience a close encounter with Martin Scuffins and his amazing birds of prey.

Devonshire teas and a sausage sizzle will be available, and lunch will be available in the elegant Garden Room.

Visitors to the Open Garden Day can also participate in games of bocce and croquet on the lawn, the children's treasure hunt trail or purchase Sovereign's Hill's famous confectionery, sauces and jams.
