As part of the annual Winter Masterpiece program, the National Gallery of Victoria is proudly presenting Napoleon: Revolution to Empire. This anticipated exhibition will detail French art, culture and life from the 1770s to the 1820s and in particular, detail the first French voyages of discovery to Australia. There will over 300 objects on display, including 11 paintings from the Palace of Versailles. This exhibition will run from from June 2 until October 7, 2012.
Accompanying the exhibition is an exciting High Tea with Napoleon package, hosted by the The Tea Room. The French inspired high tea menu will feature a selection of savoury and sweet items, including macaroons, cherry clafoutis and eclairs.
