Everyone's favourite 'Market with Craftitude' heads back to Chelsea this December, giving you the chance to stock up on some locally made crafts, handmade goods and yummy home baked treats for the festive season.
Nanna Cool Markets started life in Chelsea a year ago, promising to fill the craft market void otherwise missing in the local area. The hardworking team behind Melbourne South East's popular craft markets have since expanded their profile, offering regular events in Frankston, and venturing out to Mornington in January 2015.
December sees the return of Nanna Cool to the Activity Hub in Chelsea; the place where it all began a year ago. In a Christmas themed shopping event, Nanna Cool will present 30 plus quality stalls selling all sorts of goods suitable for Christmas, as well as proper coffee, yummy food and free entertainment for the little ones.
Some of the stallholders confirmed for Nanna Cool's December market include Mel Macklin selling her whimsical illustrations.
In addition to local craft stallholders, Nanna Cool like to support charitable causes too, offering a community spot to groups or individuals someone raising money for others by way of selling handmade or vintage wares. In November, the Nanna Cool team offered a free stall to St Paul's Op Shop, and December's market sees Helping Hand Bag selling totes to raise funds for families in need.
Incidentally, if you know of a community group or individual raising money for charity that might like to sell goods at the next Nanna Cool Market, get in touch with one of the team, as there is still a vacant community stallholder spot at the next Mornington market.
Little people will be entertained by The Music Box Co, a pre-school music program for children aged 6 months to five years.
On the beverage front, Deluxe & The Barista will fulfill your hot drink needs selling coffees from the back of a classic black VW van for you to enjoy whilst browsing the best of Nanna Cool's offerings.
To follow all the latest Nanna Cool news, head to Facebook and like the Market with Craftitude, otherwise do head down to Chelsea Activity Hub on Saturday 13 December from 10am to 2pm for a spot of Christmas shopping.
The Activity Hub in Chelsea is only a short walk from Chelsea train station, and merely a hop skip and a jump from one of the best sandy beaches in Port Phillip Bay.
