Work, Rest, Play in Adelaide :D
Published June 21st 2011

Nanna's Bakery is a little treasure in the Central Markets producing freshly baked sweet and savoury buns every day. A house specialty is their mini Hot Dog (a must try for those who are new to this little bakery), red bean bun, BBQ pork bun, curry beef pocket, cheesy pocket, custard tart, and more.

Nanna's Bakery

Nanna's Bakery has been open for many years; it's a bakery I've loved since I was a kid and still look forward to having a mini hot dog whenever I shop in the Central Markets today. There baked goods are consistently delicious, from 10 years ago till now the flavours are still mouth watering and high in quality.

Mini Hot Dog

With 22 scrumptious sweet, savoury or spicy buns to choose from you'll definitely find one that tickles your taste buds. A true Adelaide icon, a must for all; Nanna's Bakery beats the new rival bread franchises and should be supported (especially by Adeladians).

Like them on Facebook.

I always walk past this place, but I've never actually tried it before. Great to read a review of it. I'll definitely have to check it out next time as I'm in love with all of these flavours.

I'm thinking the first two things I try might have to be a hotdog and a pork bus. Sounds delicious!
