Nan Tien Temple

Although I had been studying Buddhism thoroughly during school, I hadn't expected such an exceptional experience while visiting the Nan Tien Temple in Unaderra during the week.

The cultural and spiritual experience that I had gone through was utterly amazing. From meditation to a traditional tea ceremony, the immensity of Buddhism that was washed over us was amazing.

I had never meditated before in my life and neither had many of my fellow classmates, but during a half an hour session of such, my mind and thought process was so clear and focused. We had all experienced such an amazing alteration in our brain frequency.

The traditional customs and rituals in Buddhism were thoroughly explained by the Nuns who lived there and the best part was that this temple is open to everyone to experience and only costs if you stay the night or eat at the dining hall, which was honestly such amazing food. It was all vegetarian, which may put some people off, but the flavours and varieties of the food was incredible.

I would recommend this cultural experience to people of all ages, from children to the elderly.

For ones who want to learn more about this amazing religion, must visit this temple and walk into the lives of the Buddhists.

Good morning,
A couple of weeks ago I followed your suggestion and visited this temple: MAGNIFICENT is the only word I can describe this experience. It is definitely worthwhile a vist.
On the way back, I stopped in Helensburgh and had lunch in a tiny Inn called the Centennial Hotel where lunch was big, cheap and ever so tasty.
Boy, did I have a good day that day.
