I always enjoy seeing work by student artists. It's great to see their personalities shine through in their work, and to see their responses to the challenges of project briefs.
Ceramic coil pots by year 9
Art lovers in Nambour can see the next generation of up and coming artists in Nambour State College's end of year art exhibition. Showing at the Old Ambulance Gallery in Howard St, works by students from Years 7 to 12 are on display.

The 100 or so artworks comprise a large variety of media, from paintings and drawings to ceramics, installations, and multimedia in the form of 49 minutes of short videos.
Local Textures year 10A
There is a lot to look at and the standard of the work is generally high, which is a credit to the direction and tuition of the school's Visual Arts Department. There are various exercises on display that demonstrate a serious push to develop talents.
