Naked Espresso Bar

It was a cold and difficult Melbourne day. A mild morning followed by surprise rain - though, the rain really wasn't a surprise but I think we were hoping for it to be clear and still.
Naked Espresso opened in August this year. If you had ever heard of
Elevenses Espresso - or at least got a chance to sample their goodness, Naked Espresso is run by the same dynamic duo - Tom and Shanny.
Espresso. Sumatra. Toby's Estate.
Herbal and Earthy flavours. Extremely good. Hard to describe all of the flavours, however I feel the word 'wholesome' does the coffee justice in describing it overall. This was a very well balanced cup of nectar, not overly intense but had enough amount of power to disintegrate cobwebs and light a firework in my eye.
Buffalo Soldier Bagel.
This was delicious beyond words. I haven't had a bagel in such a long time and this was well worth it. The macadamia nuts were a fantastic accompaniment to the steak and caramelised onions. I asked for mine without cheese (because I'm lactose intolerant) but I'm sure the Swiss cheese would have added another layer of salivation.
At 3:14 pm there are still people slipping in and out looking for a coffee hug with a side of warmth. Mind you, they are still quite busy even though they close at 4pm.
What else?
All the staff are very polite, funny and entertaining. Have a chat about the weather, something funny, or compliment Shanny on the delicious doughnut muffins she makes. Mineral water is provided before an espresso to cleanse the palate, normal good old fashioned water is always at hand for those of you just looking for some standard hydration. The interior is nice and cosy - it makes for a warm escape from the cold and wet, or a safe escape from the vicious winds of Arctic.
If you haven't gotten naked yet, then what are you still doing with your clothes on?
