Sydney Living Museums celebrates NAIDOC Week with a FREE community event on Darug Country at Rouse Hill Estate on Sunday 10 July.
The theme for 2022 is Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! and the day's jam-packed program connects visitors with Aboriginal culture, past and present, through dance, performances, storytelling and art.
Celebrations begin at 10 am with a traditional Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.
Visitors are invited to experience the Aboriginal people's long connection with the land through a range of interactive activities, including:
NAIDOC Week is celebrated by Australians from all walks of life. All are welcome to come along and participate in the range of activities and connect with the local Darug community.
