Celebrate our rich history, culture & sporting achievements

Brookfield Place is celebrating NAIDOC Week 2021 with a specially curated Indigenous Olympians outdoor exhibition.

Held from Sunday 11 to Saturday 24 July, in the Heritage Square (opposite Basilica), the NAIDOC Week Indigenous Olympians Outdoor Exhibition pays tribute to Olympians Cathy Freeman, Danny Morseu, Alex Winwood, Bradly Hore, Paul Flemin, Beki Smith and many more.

This is a special opportunity for Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians to come together to recognise our rich history, culture and sporting achievements.

NAIDOC Week is celebrated not only in Aboriginal communities, but by Australians from all walks of life, with this year's theme being 'Heal Country, heal our nation'.

Come along, read our Olympians' stories and what 'Heal Country, heal our nation' means to them.
