The Blak Markets will be part of a free day out for all the family at Barangaroo. This event will be showcasing the very best of Aboriginal art, crafts, bushfoods and entertainment.

Enjoy a full program of events presented by First Hand Solutions featuring over 20 stalls of Blak Markets. This special event will be held on the Stargazer Lawn at Barangaroo from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 24 September.

Browse and buy from a variety of unique products and food by Aboriginal makers and food producers from all around New South Wales.

This popular open-air market features stalls selling unique handmade items, accessories, jewellery, art, photography and bush tucker by Aboriginal makers and food producers from around NSW, plus paintings from South Australia's highly awarded APY Art Centre Collective.

Not just markets to enjoy but also a line up of family-friendly entertainment with live music by singer-songwriter Rebecca Hatch.

Young and old can participate in a free dance workshop with the Ngaran Ngaran traditional dancers.

Kids will be rapt listening to the Hunter-gather performances by Larry Brandy Storytellers

Get hungry watching a bush tucker cooking demonstration with celebrity chef, The Black Olive (Mark Olive).

Get informed and listen to a panel discussion exploring contemporary versus traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art with senior artists from APY Art Collective and Cara Pinchbeck, Senior Curator of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
